Quanta Capital, the Dublin-headquartered investment and asset management firm led by Mel Sutcliffe, has confirmed its interest in acquiring Accell Group, the Dutch parent company of cycling brands including Raleigh, Haibike, Ghost, Lapierre, Winora, Batavus, Koga, Sparta, Babboe, and Carqon. Accell Group entered Dutch insolvency proceedings on August 5, after a bid to sell the business collapsed.
