Bluefin Bidco Ltd, the company making a management buyout offer to acquire Irish Continental Group, has issued a statement to the stock market saying its €1.2 billion offer for the owner of Irish Ferries is “final and will not be increased.” The proposed €8.00 a share offer has met resistance from six significant shareholders who have described the offer price as “an inequitable transfer of value” from existing shareholders to the proposed new bid company.  However, Bluefin’s MBO team, led by ICG chief executive Eamonn Rothwell, has upped the ante with its statement ruling out any increase in its offer…
