It was at the turn of the millennium that the imposing Gothic-styled Strancally Castle in Co Waterford last changed hands. The castle, which dates back to 1830, is nestled on the banks of the Blackwater River, some 20 kilometres outside Youghal, and sits on a 440-acre estate.
