Micksgarage.com, the e-commerce business founded by brothers Ciaran and Mick Crean, is being sold to one of the world’s largest automotive parts companies. Founded in 2003 in Mick Crean’s bedroom in Co Mayo, the business has become a household name in Ireland. It is being bought by Alliance Automotive Group UK & Ireland, a wholly owned subsidiary of the New York Stock Exchange-listed Genuine Parts Company (GPC).  Founded by the Fraser brothers in 1928, GPC has a market capitalisation of $18.8 billion (€16.1 billion).
