The word “unusual” did some heavy lifting at Monday evening’s examinership petition for Horse Sport Ireland (HSI). It was sprinkled liberally throughout the hearing as affiliates lined up to support a proposed rescue process for the national governing body for showjumping and equestrian sports, but not without first voicing significant reservations.
