The latest legal challenge by hold-out bondholders opposing the restructuring of the Irish-founded, Luxembourg-headquartered, packaging multinational Ardagh Group has blocked plans to dispose of its profitable metal cans business. “A summary judge of the district court of Luxembourg recently issued an order against Ardagh Holdings SA (AHSA), prohibiting it from currently proceeding with the sale of all or part of its interests in Ardagh Metal Packaging SA,” the group informed investors this Wednesday.
