Staff at Horse Sport Ireland, the insolvent national governing body for showjumping and equestrian sports, have written to the Minister for Agriculture, Martin Heydon, to tell him they are “deeply concerned about the future of our jobs and our ability to continue supporting our families”.  HSI, which employs 47 people, sought examinership protection in late August, leading to fears that some of them will lose their jobs when the business is restructured.
