A Dublin-based childcare provider with capacity for 950 children at 11 facilities across the capital and plans to open two more is raising private-equity investment to expand. The Currency understands the deal has yet to close, but filings show preliminary restructuring of the Irish company’s financing arrangements took place mid-September. The transaction would mark the latest entry by an international investor into Ireland’s creche sector, following the May acquisition of Tigers Childcare by Kid’s Planet, backed by London private-equity firm Fremman Capital.
