Plans for a major solar farm in Co Tipperary backed by the Magnier family, already delayed by planning objections, have hit another roadblock as recently granted permission for underground cabling to connect to the grid has been appealed to the planning commission. The billionaire bloodstock family recently purchased an estimated 527 acres around Killough Castle near Thurles at the end of 2023.
