The Phelan Energy Group (PEG) plans to lead a €75 million investment in two innovative solar projects in Afghanistan. The investment which is backed by USAID and the government of Afghanistan will help improve living standards in a country which has faced an energy crisis for many years because of decades of war and other factors. PEG is developing a floating solar power project on a dam in Kabul province and also a battery energy storage project.
