Biden supporters expected a landslide: a giant repudiation of Trump, along with control of the senate. As I write on Thursday afternoon, Biden is on track to an electoral college vote margin of up to seventy, and a popular vote margin of 5 per cent or so. And he’s not likely to take the Senate. A win, then, but not a landslide. Biden supporters are struggling to comprehend how it was so close. What were they thinking? Do they not see him for what he is?
