From the very first word, everything seems odd in the interim judgement delivered on November 19 by High Court judge Michael Twomey. The first plaintiff in the legal action, whose name appears at the top of the page, is dead. The late Mortimer John Walters, a Dublin lawyer whose name appeared in company filings around the world, issued proceedings alongside colleague Ronan Campbell in 2018 to defend their appointments as receivers to a patent.
