Recent weeks marked the exit of a senior member of the Davy Group management team that acquired the business from Bank of Ireland in October 2006. Ronan Godfrey, a respected director of Davy corporate finance, left both his operational role in the business and resigned from its management board. Godfrey is the latest departure from Ireland’s biggest stockbroker where up to 30 per cent of the business is now owned by staff who have left the company.
