Enterprise Ireland, the state agency responsible for the development and growth of Irish businesses, is investigating a “phishing incident” sent unwittingly from the email account of one of its officials who specialises in advising cybersecurity startups.  The hackers managed to temporarily compromise his account and email high-potential startup clients of the agency working in cybersecurity and other tech sectors, asking them to click on a link marked “Enterprise Ireland Investment Proposal.”  The email had the subject line “Enterprise Ireland,” however it linked to a fraudulent sign-in account which could potentially give hackers access to sensitive data of anyone who clicked on the…
