Former Independent News and Media Chairman Leslie Buckley has lost his bid to remove High Court inspectors appointed to investigate the company. The inspectors, senior counsel Sean Gillane and Richard Fleck, a UK-based corporate governance expert, were put in place in September 2018 to investigate the alleged data hacking of journalists, barristers and former staff at the media group in 2014.
