“Outraged and gravely concerned” are the words used by his lawyers to describe businessman Declan Ganley’s reaction to the CNN broadcast last autumn. The offending piece, about a highly lucrative Department of Defense 5G spectrum competition, by the network’s Washington Correspondent Jake Tapper is alleged to have accused Ganley’s company Rivada Networks of trying to obtain the contract corruptly.
