Bankruptcy officials look set to sell the family home of rugby legend and former bankrupt Peter Clohessy to pay down creditors’ debts. That is unless the former Munster and Ireland player, or his wife, decides to buy back his stake in the property. Nicknamed “the Claw”, Clohessy had a number of business ventures including running Clohessy’s Bar in Limerick which closed in 2014. He was declared bankrupt in January 2017 with debts of around €13.6 million.
