Irish communications provider Welltel is buying Cork-headquartered managed connectivity and cloud computing company Strencom in a deal estimated to value the business at more than €10 million. Accountancy firm was retained late last year to sell the 21-year-old business and the deal closed recently for an undisclosed sum. Strencom has about 300 customers and revenues of €8.4 million in 2020 and is expected to have revenues of more than €9 million this year.
