I’ve been writing about great business models lately. How’s this for one: ransomware-as-a-service (RaaS). RaaS enterprises provide hackers with the tools and support they need to hack into businesses and hold them for ransom. For example, the Colonial Pipeline Co’s fuel pipelines were hacked last week using the tools of a RaaS provider called DarkSide. REvil is another RaaS business.
