Since 2015, Madrid-headquartered global infrastructure group Ferrovial has been battling Revenue over a disputed tax liability arising from the partial sale of its investment in the M4 tolled motorway between Kilcock, Co Kildare and Kinnegad, Co Westmeath. A newly published determination by the Tax Appeals Commission shows that the Spanish investor has won this battle – for now.
