Most things are snapping back normal after the pandemic at an impressive speed, but retail is not one of them. Last week, Gap announced it is closing all its Irish and UK shops. Gap has four shops and concessions in the Republic, and three more in the North. Up to 140 people could lose their jobs. Gap follows Tommy Hilfiger, Canada Goose, Abercrombie & Fitch and Carphone Warehouse out of Ireland.
