Dunmore, a new pub group backed by Irish investors, has made its second purchase after taking over a 20-year-old bar on Baggot Street in the heart of Dublin city. Dunmore has acquired the Wellington at 1 Baggott Street Upper in Dublin 4 for an undisclosed sum from publicans John and Monica Gibney, who have run it for the last 24 years. This is the second pub acquired by Dunmore, having also bought Walters Bar in Dún Laoghaire, which it hopes to fully reopen in about six weeks’ time.
