Irishman Barry Canton became a paper billionaire last Friday, and nobody back home noticed. From Sutton in north County Dublin, the UCD mechanical engineering graduate is a co-founder of a Boston-based biotech company called Ginkgo Bioworks. And on Friday, the company floated on the New York Stock Exchange, closing the day with a valuation of $20 billion.
