Remedial works of €9 million will be required to address “serious fire safety issues” at Ivy Exchange, an apartment and retail development on Dublin’s Parnell Street, it has been claimed in the High Court. The Cosgrave property group is behind the Celtic Tiger era development of 198 apartments and 11 commercial premises, including Tesco and the well-known independent bookstore, Chapters. IEGP, the management company for the development, is suing JOM Investments Unlimited, a company owned by the Cosgrave family, for arrears of €808,421 in service charges allegedly due.
