When the former Yorkshire cricketer Azeem Rafiq issued an apology on Thursday for antisemitic messages he had sent eleven years ago when he was 19, some felt it had critically undermined his story. A closer inspection of those who were most vocal in now declaring him an unreliable witness once, showed that they were not necessarily those who we might see as agents for change.
