One month ago, Canada’s McCain, the world’s largest chips manufacturer, announced a $55 million USD investment in Strong Roots, the Irish frozen plant-based foods maker founded in Dublin by Sam Dennigan. Strong Roots brought to the table healthy options to lighten up McCain’s fried potato-heavy menu, as well as a brand expanding rapidly beyond its original Irish and British markets.
