On January 14, Russia’s largest financial institution Sberbank provided finance for a Bombardier Global 5000 private jet and its two Rolls Royce engines. The aircraft was leased to Gloria Jeans Corporation, a large Moscow-based fashion retailer with stores across Russia, Ukraine, Kazakhstan and Belarus. The subsidiary of Sberbank that borrowed from its parent against the jet, leased it out and filed details of associated debt charges, SB Leasing Ireland, is based out of a suite of serviced offices in Maynooth, Co Kildare.
