Accountancy firm Deloitte has ended talks to sell its insolvency practice to Interpath Advisory, a private equity-backed business that acquired KPMG’s insolvency business in the UK last year. A spokesperson for the firm told The Currency: “Deloitte has confirmed to staff that it is not considering a sale of its restructuring business and is committed to continuing to invest in, and evolve its restructuring business to deliver the best outcomes for its people and clients.” A number of senior partners in Deloitte are, however, still going to leave the business to join Interpath.
