A former member of staff at the centre of an internal review by Bank of Ireland was believed to be a distant member of the British royal family by people who dealt with him during his period with the bank. The individual worked in Bank of Ireland in cybersecurity, fraud prevention and technology from mid-2016 until the final months of 2019.
