The Ferrero Group, the third-generation family-owned Italian confectioner, has agreed to acquire Irish protein bar brand Fulfil for an undisclosed sum in all markets outside North America. The business announced it had been sold in a post on LinkedIn that said: “We’re delighted to announce that Fulfil will be acquired by the Ferrero Group. #LifesWonderfuel.” No further detail was given of the sale, which was described by its chief executive Alan Metcalfe in a social media post as a “momentous day in the Fulfil journey.” Metcalfe was appointed managing director of Fulfil in September 2020 and one of his jobs…
