Thousands of investors in the Belfry Investment Funds have been told by AIB that a review of how much they might be paid in compensation by the bank is taking “longer than we anticipated.” The first group of investors in Belfry who were due to find out this month whether or not they were due compensation from AIB have been told they will now have to wait until September. “We are sorry for this delay and we are grateful for your patience,” the bank said.
