Former New York Times reporter Alex Berenson is gearing up to sue Twitter in the High Court in Dublin claiming reputational damage after he was banned from the platform for questioning the effectiveness of Covid-19 vaccines. Lawyers for the Yale-educated independent journalist and author are due to make an ex parte application in the Four Courts next Monday to serve defamation proceedings against the social media giant which is headquartered outside of the jurisdiction in San Francisco.
