John Banville, the Booker prize winning author, has written his last book. In a wide ranging interview with Dion Fanning of The Currency as part of a forthcoming podcast interview series, Banville says the book called The Singularities, which will be published in October, is his “final word”. “I’ve done my last book, I will keep writing the crime capers because I like doing them and they put bread on the table but I’ve finished my last book,” he said.
