Opposite Glanbia’s nine-year-old milk powder factory in Belview, Co Kilkenny, heavy construction machinery is at work. Land clearing and levelling are under way on an IDA site at least as large as the existing one. The current factory, extended over time at a total cost of €300 million, produces milk powders used in infant formula.
