Wildfires are forcing evacuations in Quinta do Lago, Portuguese authorities cited by local media reported this Wednesday after flames spread from the outskirts of neighbouring Faro town overnight. “Right now, our priority is the Quinta do Lago area”, Fire District Operational Commander Richard Marques told the Lusa news agency in a report published by the English-language website Portugal News.
