On a Monday evening in Kennedy’s bar on Westland Row, it’s standing room only.  A crowd of locals and a few tourists are ignoring everything but the pints in front of them to watch Manchester United play Liverpool on huge screens.  The body heat of the pub is in stark contrast to the desolate city outside.  Dublin feels hollowed out.
