Francesca Comyn is an award winning legal affairs journalist, covering litigation, legislation and the law.
She graduated with a degree in Philosophy and Classical Civilisation from Trinity College Dublin in 1997 and later completed a law degree at DIT, Aungier Street. She also holds a Higher Diploma in Information Technology from NUI, Maynooth.
Francesca’s career in journalism has spanned broadcast and print. She was courts correspondent with Newstalk (and Today FM) for eight years after beginning her media career as a news anchor at Newstalk and Q102 (Lite FM).
In 2015, she took up the role of legal affairs correspondent with the Sunday Business Post providing news and in-depth analysis on policy and the courts and even hosting the occasional podcast.
Francesca has contributed or been a panellist on RTE, TV3, BBC, CNN and Australia’s Seven Network.
She is the recipient of several Justice Media Awards for her work in radio and print.
