There have been many columns written about the recent Dublin riots, their roots, and their consequences. Given the abundance, I had been planning to steer clear of the topic. Granted, it’s not completely unreasonable to connect the city’s housing woes with the thuggery on display that night. But the causal chain is long and ultimately convoluted.
