A few years ago, it would have appeared alarmist to suggest that using certain digital platforms was a form of complicity with political authoritarianism. But in a European continent dominated by US-driven platforms, and as digital corporations fall over themselves to be onside with the radical authoritarianism of the US national government, this is no longer alarmist.
