I am writing this on April 22, Earth Day. A few years back, this was widely marked in the media, and by talks and lunchtime events in workplaces and in communities. But today I have only heard it referenced once. Back in 2000, my publishers chose Earth Day for the publication of my book. It was an appropriate day to launch a book about the impact the way we live has on the earth.
