The release of the Kantar BrandZ Top 100 most valuable global brands ranking in May will have been quietly celebrated in a small town in the north-west of Spain. Zara, the flagship brand of the textile giant Inditex, has surpassed Nike to become the world’s most valuable fashion brand.
