Looking back on my Dublin career, I don’t think anyone begrudged our All-Ireland in 2011. After that? Well, maybe that was as good as it got from a neutral’s perspective. Success changes perception. The first title is celebrated incredibly internally and not begrudged externally because it feels overdue.
