The EU’s digital euro ambitions, and Ireland’s role in it, are beginning to take shape three years after the plan was first unveiled. The Central Bank of Ireland will oversee Stripe’s role in the EU’s digital euro pilot and assist in building out the payment systems will power the ambitious plan.
