We see daily case numbers and weekly political dramas. We see month to month changes in the government’s response to the crisis. Our officials wonder what the years ahead might hold for us. Only a fool would pretend they knew.  In this column I want to take a higher level view of our attempt to take back control of our fate because I feel we are lost in the tactical minutiae of managing our response to the virus.
