Under Swiss Covid-19 restrictions, Aryzta’s 2020 AGM this Tuesday was reduced to a one-page voting results announcement. There wasn’t even a video call for its chairman Urs Jordi, the Swiss company veteran, to celebrate the increase in shareholder support for his election from two thirds at the September EGM – when he overthrew Gary McGann – to 92.14% this week.
