One phrase repeats in my mind as I re-read the government’s just-released Economic Recovery Plan. It’s a little German motif robbed, as it happens, from a Roman Emperor: Eile mit Weile. Make haste, slowly. Balance urgency and diligence. Advance always with deliberation.  The plan extends key income supports and tax warehousing. Some supports extend into 2022.
