On January 18, five senior partners at two of the country’s biggest accountancy practices did something almost unprecedented: they resigned. Eamonn Richardson and Kieran Wallace both tendered their resignations from KPMG. The two men have led the insolvency practice for a decade and had a string of appointments such as the liquidation of IBRC and the share receivership of the Quinn Group.
