The world’s financial markets took a real wobble last week. Lots of explanations abound, but no one is really sure why. The interest rate increase by the US Federal Reserve was so well flagged that Fed Chair Jay Powell might as well have printed T-shirts with the news on it a few weeks beforehand. The market for some reason didn’t have its wobble on Tuesday, when the Fed’s news came out. The wobble came on Wednesday.
