Interviewed by Gavin Jennings on RTÉ’s Morning Ireland, Minister for Public Expenditure Jack Chambers asserted on July 8 that the MetroLink, a planned urban railway northwards from Dublin city centre to the airport and Swords, would definitely go ahead.  Chambers went on to admit that there is no firm cost estimate for the project.
